Escape the hustle and bustle and discover Jinack Island, a pristine island located near the border with Senegal. Wide beaches, peaceful villages, and a warm welcome make this a unique experience. The island can be reached by boat, or even by motorbike at low tide. Along the way, you’ll pass oyster beds, mangroves, and fishermen at work.

Once on the island, it's pure bliss: stroll along the quiet beach, taste local dishes, or simply take shelter in the shade under a palm tree. This varied day tour combines the best of southwest Gambia. We visit the Reptile Farm, explore the border village of Kartong, and admire the unique Mosque on the beach, also known as the Sand Mosque. During a visit to the turtle reserve, we learn about the protection of sea turtles.
