An interesting day out for nature lovers
Departure by car to Lamin, where there is an impressive large tree with texts from visitors from all over the world, also called the Internet three. Learn about the process of processing the oysters and shells that are spread out here. The oysters grow on the roots of the mangrove. Women harvest the oysters in their small canoes. Then we take a small boat tour through the beautiful mangrove.
Then we arrive in Daranka, where there is the largest Silk Cotton or Elephant Tree in Gambia, so big that you can even climb into it. The tree is still used for traditional rituals today. A special piece of Gambia's nature.
Take a photo at the tree, like a real Photo Booth.
We will take you back to the hotel around noon.
